Welcome New Teachers Welcome New Teachers! Dear CWE Families, We are excited to welcome the following educators to our Cypress Woods instructional staff. The teachers will be servicing students in a co-teach model effective Monday, Sept. 26th. Although the classes are larger, there are two certified teachers sharing the teaching responsibilities. This ensures we are in compliance with the state class size mandate. Mrs. Stephanie Ressler joins Mrs. Gates (3rd grade), Mrs. Gina Silvers joins Ms. Halleran (4th grade) and Mrs. Rachel Lantzy joins Mrs. Pawelczyk (5th grade). As many of you know Mrs. Ressler and Mrs. Silvers were members of our instructional staff last year and are familiar with our CWE students and our way of work. Mrs. Lantzy taught third grade and fifth grade at Highland Lakes Elementary. As always, we will keep doing great things for kids! The money raised for this event will go to our Technology Department. In order for this event to run smoothly, we will need a lot of help from our volunteers. If you are a registered volunteer, and would like to help with this event, please respond to this email so that I may put you on our list. This event lasts all day and your child will participate during his or her PE time. The PE times vary, so if you would like to volunteer during your child’s PE time and you don’t know when that is, when you respond I will let you know at that time. We will need volunteers all day long, so if you can volunteer for a block of time (for example AM or PM), that would be wonderful!! Again, you must be a registered volunteer to help with this event. A registered volunteer must have filled out the paperwork for this year and have been approved. If you are unsure if you are registered, contact me and I will let you know. If you know that you are not registered, please let me know and I can email you the volunteer form for you to fill out and have it processed.
